These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the RiDZEE mobile application, website, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform") operated by Ridzee Private Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of India, with its principal operations based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

By downloading, installing, or using the RiDZEE app, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform.
• Riders must provide a valid Indian mobile number for account registration.
• Driver-partners must possess a valid driving licence issued by the RTO (including Raipur RTO, Durg RTO, or any authorised Indian RTO), valid vehicle registration, commercial insurance, and must pass background verification.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must not share your OTP, password, or account access with anyone.
• RiDZEE reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate any account at its sole discretion.
• One person may maintain only one active rider account and one active driver-partner account.

RiDZEE operates as a technology intermediary platform (similar to Ola and Uber) that connects riders seeking transportation with independent driver-partners. We do not provide transportation services ourselves.

3.1 Service Areas

RiDZEE currently operates in Raipur and surrounding areas in Chhattisgarh, including but not limited to:

• Raipur city (Shankar Nagar, Pandri, Telibandha, VIP Road, Civil Lines, Tatibandh, Amanaka, Devendra Nagar, Mowa, Bhanpuri)
• Naya Raipur (Atal Nagar)
• Durg & Bhilai
• Bilaspur, Korba, Rajnandgaon, Jagdalpur
• Raipur Airport (Swami Vivekananda Airport) transfers
• Outstation rides to/from major Chhattisgarh destinations

3.2 Ride Categories

• RiDZEE Mini: Budget-friendly hatchback rides for daily commutes.
• RiDZEE Sedan: Comfortable sedan rides for a premium experience.
• RiDZEE Auto: Auto-rickshaw rides at affordable prices.
• RiDZEE Bike: Two-wheeler rides for quick, solo commutes.
• RiDZEE Outstation: Intercity rides across Chhattisgarh and neighbouring states.

3.3 Platform Role

RiDZEE does not employ driver-partners. Driver-partners are independent contractors responsible for their own vehicles, licences, insurance, and compliance with traffic laws. RiDZEE's role is limited to facilitating the technological connection between riders and driver-partners.

4.1 Fare Calculation

• Fares are calculated based on base fare + distance (per km) + time (per minute), with applicable surge pricing during peak demand periods.
• Estimated fares shown before ride confirmation are approximate. Actual fares may vary due to route changes, waiting time, tolls, or traffic conditions.
• Applicable GST and service fees will be added to the fare as per Indian tax laws.

4.2 Payment Methods

• Cash payment to the driver-partner.
• UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM UPI).
• RiDZEE Wallet (prepaid wallet with top-up facility).
• Debit/Credit cards via secure payment gateway.
• Promotional credits and referral bonuses.

4.3 Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation: Within 2 minutes of ride confirmation or before driver-partner has arrived at pickup.
• Cancellation fee: ₹25–₹50 may apply if cancelled after the free cancellation window, depending on the ride category.
• No-show fee: If the rider does not appear within 5 minutes of driver arrival, a waiting charge or cancellation fee may be levied.
• Driver cancellations: Excessive cancellations by driver-partners will result in penalties and may lead to account suspension.

4.4 Refund Policy

Refund requests for overcharges, payment errors, or service issues can be raised through the app or by contacting support. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method or RiDZEE Wallet.

5.1 Rider Responsibilities

• Wear seatbelts during rides as required by Indian motor vehicle law.
• Treat driver-partners with respect. Abuse, harassment, or discrimination of any kind is strictly prohibited.
• Do not transport illegal substances, weapons, or hazardous materials.
• Do not request the driver-partner to violate traffic laws (e.g., speeding, wrong-way driving, skipping red lights).
• Provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations.

5.2 Driver-Partner Responsibilities

• Maintain a valid driving licence, vehicle registration, insurance, and fitness certificate at all times.
• Follow all traffic rules and regulations applicable in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, and India.
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
• Not ride under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.
• Treat riders with respect and professionalism.
• Follow the GPS-recommended route unless the rider requests an alternate route.

5.3 Safety Features

• SOS Button: In-app emergency button that alerts local emergency services and your emergency contacts with live location.
• Live Ride Tracking: Share your ride status and live location with trusted contacts.
• OTP Verification: Ride start OTP to ensure rider-driver match.
• Driver Verification: All drivers undergo Aadhaar-based identity verification and criminal background checks.
• In-app Support: 24/7 support team accessible during and after rides.

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform:

• Creating fake accounts or using someone else's identity.
• Manipulating GPS or location data to fraudulently alter fares.
• Abusing promotional codes, referral programs, or wallet features.
• Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against any user.
• Using the Platform for any illegal activity.
• Reverse-engineering, hacking, or attempting to access RiDZEE's systems or databases.
• Soliciting riders or drivers for competing services during a ride.
• Making fraudulent refund or chargeback claims.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension, permanent ban, forfeiture of wallet balance, and reporting to law enforcement authorities in Raipur/Chhattisgarh.

• RiDZEE acts solely as a technology platform and does not guarantee the availability, quality, safety, or legality of rides.
• RiDZEE is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, or dispute arising from the transportation services provided by driver-partners.
• RiDZEE is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, or force majeure events in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, or elsewhere.
• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fare paid for the specific ride in question.
• RiDZEE does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Platform may experience downtime for maintenance or updates.

All content on the Platform — including the RiDZEE name, logo, app design, UI/UX, trademarks, source code, algorithms, and documentation — is the exclusive property of Ridzee Private Limited and is protected under Indian copyright and trademark laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any RiDZEE content without prior written consent.

RiDZEE reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification, push notification, email, or SMS. Continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically for any updates.

• Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be resolved through mediation and amicable settlement.
• If mediation fails, disputes shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
• The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed mutually by the parties.
• These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Raipur, Chhattisgarh shall have exclusive jurisdiction for any matters not subject to arbitration.

• The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
• Applicable Chhattisgarh State transport and commercial regulations
